At Encore we help our riders to build a partnership with their horse while building confidence in the rider. We find that this is most effectively achieved for the
recreational rider in the social atmosphere of a club with other riders having similar interests, goals and ages.

Riding Clubs for Fall 2008

Little Riders - This club is designed for the beginner rider ages
6 to 9. Lessons last for 2 hours and consist of 1 hour of riding and 1 hour of
theory / practical sessions. Lessons are taught by certified Instructors
with assistance as required. All lessons are taught on well schooled horses
and ponies.

Ladies Riding Club - This club is designed for the recreational rider and
beginners of all ages. The ladies riding club is a great way to get back into riding or for
those women looking for a welcome break from the everyday stresses of life. Lessons are
taught by certified Instructors and last for 1 hour. The second hour covers theory and
practical horse sessions. All lessons are taught on well schooled horses and ponies.

Adult Riding Clubs

Sessions are 2 hours long and run for 8 weeks at a cost of $200 + gst per session. Sessions run 4 times per year

Horse Course 4 Kids - We will be offering a course to help train the horse owners or future owners… the
horses have come to us requesting that we offer you this…LOL!!!
Such topics will be covered as:
•        Horsey Jobs, or Education in the Equine field will be explored in a fun fashion
•        Grooming, Tack and tack fitting
•        What it's like to own your own horse or pony!
•        All about your own barn… build your dream barn!
•        Vet and Farrier- both will be here for a Q and A session
•        Nature of the beast… horse handling and control.
•        Finding horse friends around the world- we will make a cyber connection with horse groups around the world!
•        Lunging, turnout, blanketing and blankets.
•        Arts and crafts for horses
•        Baking horse treats! A new recipe
•        Breeds and associations
•        Trailering and any other requested topics!
This course is for teens and children of ALL ages and will be tailored to be age appropriate depending on registration.
This is an educational club and will not include riding. Club cost is $100 for the 8 weeks.
